Our website and service providers may use cookies or similar technologies that are necessary to operate the website or measure website usage.

Google Analytics may use first-party cookies or similar identifiers to distinguish website interactions and prepare aggregated analytics reports.

Bad Mood Monday does not currently use cookies for behavioral advertising, retargeting, or the sale of personal information.

You may control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Disabling certain technologies may affect how some website features or analytics functions operate.

4. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

Some browsers and privacy tools allow users to send signals such as Do Not Track (“DNT”) or Global Privacy Control (“GPC”).

Bad Mood Monday does not sell personal information and does not use website visitor information for targeted or cross-context behavioral advertising.

Because we do not engage in those activities, a DNT or GPC signal does not currently cause Bad Mood Monday to change its sale or targeted-advertising practices.

If our data practices change or applicable law requires a different response, we will update our practices and this Privacy Policy as appropriate.

We may disclose information to service providers when reasonably necessary to operate Bad Mood Monday or provide services to our clients.

These service providers may include:

SiteGround

SiteGround provides website hosting and infrastructure services for badmoodmonday.com. Its systems may process technical information such as IP addresses and server access logs when someone visits the website.

Google

Bad Mood Monday uses Google Workspace for business email and Google Drive for business and project files. We may also use Google Meet for virtual meetings and Google Analytics to measure website activity.

Information you send to hello@badmoodmonday.com, files you provide for a project, and related business records may therefore be processed or stored through Google services.

Talkroute provides Bad Mood Monday’s business telephone service at 918-516-1220.

Talkroute may process information associated with incoming and outgoing calls, such as telephone numbers, dates, times, call duration, call-routing information, and voicemail.

Bad Mood Monday does not record or transcribe telephone conversations.

Voicemails are deleted by Bad Mood Monday after legitimate calls are returned and are not intentionally kept for long-term storage. Bad Mood Monday routinely deletes its accessible call history within approximately 30 days.

If someone becomes a paying client, their contact information may be retained as a business contact.

Talkroute may independently retain certain information as necessary to provide its services, maintain its systems, comply with law, or under its own terms and privacy practices.

Bad Mood Monday uses Square to send invoices and process client payments.

We may provide Square with information such as a client’s name, business information, email address, invoice information, and transaction details so that an invoice can be delivered and processed.

We take reasonable steps to avoid submitting unnecessary client names, personal information, confidential business information, or other sensitive information to AI-assisted development tools.

We do not sell client information to AI providers.

8. Social Media and External Websites

Our website may contain links to Bad Mood Monday pages on third-party platforms, including Facebook, Pinterest, and LinkedIn.

These are external links rather than advertising pixels or embedded social-media tracking tools.

If you leave badmoodmonday.com and visit another website or service, that company’s privacy policy and practices apply. Bad Mood Monday does not control the privacy practices of third-party websites.

9. Data Retention

Bad Mood Monday generally keeps personal and business information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, to provide services, maintain appropriate business records, resolve disputes, or satisfy legal, accounting, or tax obligations.

Our general retention practices are:

  • Website server access logs: generally subject to our hosting provider’s logging and retention practices; SiteGround currently makes archived access logs available for up to approximately 30 days.

  • Telephone call history: Bad Mood Monday routinely deletes its accessible Talkroute call history within approximately 30 days.

  • Voicemail: generally deleted after legitimate calls are returned and the message is no longer needed.

  • Unsuccessful prospective-client communications: generally retained for no more than 2 years after the last meaningful communication, and may be deleted sooner when no longer needed.

  • Client communications and project records: generally retained for up to 7 years after the client relationship or project ends, unless there is a legitimate business or legal reason to retain them longer.

  • Client project files: generally retained for up to 7 years after completion or termination of the project, subject to earlier deletion when no longer needed.

  • Invoices and accounting records: generally retained for approximately 7 years or for another period required for legitimate accounting, tax, or legal purposes.

  • Google Analytics user-level and event-level data: up to 14 months, subject to Google’s applicable settings and retention practices.

  • Privacy requests: generally retained for up to 3 years after the request is resolved.

These periods are general guidelines. Information may be deleted earlier when it is no longer reasonably necessary or retained longer when required by law, litigation, contractual obligations, fraud prevention, security needs, or another legitimate business purpose.

10. Data Security

Bad Mood Monday uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information we maintain.

These safeguards may include access controls, password protections, secure service providers, account security measures, and limiting access to business information to people or systems that reasonably need it.

No website, email system, cloud service, telephone service, or method of electronic storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure. We therefore cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Your Privacy Requests

Depending on where you live and which privacy laws apply, you may have rights concerning certain personal information, which can include rights to request access, correction, deletion, or a copy of information.

Even where a particular state privacy law does not apply to Bad Mood Monday, we will consider reasonable requests concerning personal information we maintain when we can reasonably identify the requester and comply without conflicting with legal, contractual, security, accounting, or other legitimate obligations.

If these practices change in the future, we will update this Privacy Policy and implement any legally required notices or opt-out mechanisms before engaging in the new practice.

13. Children

Bad Mood Monday’s website and services are intended for businesses and adult business owners.

Our services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

If we become aware that we have received personal information from a child under 13 in circumstances requiring deletion, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
